Jeeva Samadhi

Jeeva Samadhi

Jeeva Samadhi :

Samadhi means Sama + Adhi, which is Sama means EQUAL and ADHI means the first being ( God, almighty), so if a human being attains an equivalent state of god, is called Samadhi. This is a state where there is no rebirth to that person. This state can be attained while living in the body. This state is attainable only when there is no Karma left to be worked out in this earth.

Next is JEEVA SAMADHI – This means, attaining the state of God while living, and even after soul leaves the body the body tends to keep up the energy. So this body is kept in a 6 feet deep pit which has concrete all sides, and the body is kept inside by filling Vilva leavs, Viboothi etc.. upto the neck level. Above neck will be kept straight. After keeping the body in the pit, it is sealed with concrete on top.

The reason for keeping the body in the pit, is that the JEEVA ( life force) is still in the body, and body does not decay at all. If you prick a needle the blood will start oozing out of a body in Jeeva Samadhi. Also that the Saint who left the body is available everywhere especially he can easily be connected in that place where he has his Jeeva Samadhi. The Magnetism is very high in a Jeeva Samadhi, and by regularly visiting a Jeeva Samadhi, and praying will certainly bestow with fulfilled wishes what you deserve. This is because the saint in Samadhi will also bless you and pray for your benefit, which is more powerful. Mantralaya is the Jeeva Samadhi of Sri Raghavendra, and people visit there frequently and by staying there for 3  days or so, there is an immense energy and positivity felt by people who stayed there.

Jeeva Samadhi will create a positive vibration for many kilometers around it. Naturally people get attracted to a place is because of Jeeva Samadhi of a saint nearby. In ancient days of Tamil Nadu the kings used to build temple around a Jeeva Samadhi, so that it is well protected and people gain by visiting those temples. Example : Konganar Siddhar Jeeva Samadhi is in Tirupathy Temple, Agastya Rishi’s Jeeva Samadhi is in Trivandrum Sripadmanabaswamy temple, Dhanvantri’’s jeeva Samdhi in Vaitheeswaran Kovil, Bogar Siddhar in Palani Murugan Temple and Raghavendra Jeeva Samadhi in Mantralaya.

Similarly for Other religions also have their saints who had attained Jeeva Samadhi,.
